David Songulashvili Visits Samegrelo–Zemo Svaneti Region together with the Prime Minister of Georgia.
The Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Mr David Songulashvili, together with the Prime Minister of Georgia, Mr Irakli Kobakhidze, visited the Geo-Industry Ltd. goat farm and milk processing enterprise in Menji village, Senaki Municipality, Samegrelo–Zemo Svaneti region.During the visit, the government delegation became familiar with the facility’s state-of-the-art infrastructure, reviewed the full production cycle, and discussed the company’s development plans. Particular emphasis was placed on supporting local production, developing the dairy processing sector, and strengthening agribusiness in regional areas.
According to the Minister, similar enterprises play a crucial role in driving local economic development and enhancing the competitiveness of Georgian production.
Geo-Industry Ltd. produces goat milk and processes cow and buffalo milk. The facility has a 24-hour production capacity of approximately 3 tons of milk.
The company’s products are sold entirely in the domestic market and reach consumers through its retail chain, “Aria,” which operates in Tbilisi and Batumi. In addition, the products are supplied to various restaurants and retail networks.
The enterprise currently employs 30 people.
