Apple Exports from Georgia Increased by 65% in August–September 2025

  From August 1 to September 28, 2025, Georgia exported 906 tonnes of apples, with a total export value of USD 698 thousand, which represents a 65% increase in volume (an additional 356 tonnes) and a 105% increase in value (an additional 357 thousand USD), compared to the same period last year.


 

Notably, the average export price per kilogram of apples during this period was USD 0.77, which is 24% higher than the average price recorded during the same period in the previous year.

 

The primary export destination was Russia, which received 697 tonnes of Georgian apples. Additionally, 150 tonnes were exported to Belarus, and 59 tonnes to Turkey.
