As of April 21, 2025, exports of agri-food products to the European Union increased by USD 9.2 million compared to the same period in 2024.

As of April 21, 2025, agri-food product exports saw a substantial 19% year-on-year increase, amounting to a USD 9.2 million rise, reaching a total value of USD 56.9 million. Higher exports of hazelnuts, fruit and vegetable juices, and wine primarily drove this growth.

 

Hazelnut exports rose by USD 5.2 million, reaching USD 19.0 million.
Fruit and vegetable juice exports increased by USD 4.3 million, totalling USD 5.7 million.
Wine exports grew by USD 2.3 million, reaching USD 11.2 million.
European Union Market

 

Exports to the European Union increased by USD 9.2 million compared to the same period in 2024. Key destination markets showed notable growth:
Germany: Exports rose by 43%, or USD 4.3 million, driven entirely by fruit and vegetable juice exports, which increased to USD 5.3 million.

 

Italy: Exports surged 3.2 times, mainly due to hazelnut exports, which rose by USD 4.8 million to USD 5.9 million.
Other Key Markets

 

Azerbaijan: Agri-food exports increased by 10%, or USD 4.4 million, driven by non-alcoholic carbonated beverages and potatoes, valued at USD 9.0 million and USD 3.6 million, respectively.

 

China: Wine exports grew by USD 1.2 million, reaching USD 3.2 million.
