The 2nd regional seminar on the effective dissemination of environmental information was held in Copenhagen
Under the project ‘’Implementation of the principles and practices of the Shared Environmental Information System in the Eastern Partnership countries (ENI SEIS II East’’, the European Environment Agency (EEA) conducted a two-day seminar for the representatives of six countries (Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine) in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The seminar introduces different effective methods/techniques of communication to improve shared environmental information. The issues related to the effective social media and crisis management was also included in the workshop.
The representative of the Department of Strategic Communication of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, expert of the LEPL Environmental Information and Education Center (EIEC) Information Systems and National Assistant to the ENI SEIS II Project attended the workshop.
It’s worth mentioning, that ENI SEIS East II project is funded by the EU European Neighborhood Instrument (ENI) and promotes public access to the shared environmental information. The project aims to deepen relations between the EU and Eastern Partnership countries and strengthen environmental protection through enhancing environmental governance.
